With a resource of approximately 605,000 tons and an extraordinary 14.5% average grade of Total Rare Earth Oxides (TREO), it holds an estimated 86,900 tons of contained TREO.

Strategically, South Africa’s REE potential positions the country to play a pivotal role in meeting global demand. Notably, all four permanent magnet rare earths-essential for green energy technologies-can be found within its borders.
