Key stages in our water treatment process, every water source possesses a unique chemical and biological profile. Therefore, we customize our treatment trains to address the specific contaminants present in the raw water. However, our general framework follows a highly structured path.

Initial Assessment and Filtration

Before deploying any equipment, our engineers conduct rigorous water quality testing and site evaluations. Understanding the baseline conditions allows us to select the appropriate preliminary treatment methods.

The physical separation of large solids is the first operational step. We use coarse and fine screens to remove debris, grit, and suspended matter. This protects downstream equipment from damage and reduces the load on subsequent biological or chemical processes. Advanced coagulation and flocculation techniques are then applied to bind smaller particles together, making them easier to settle and remove in clarifiers.

Biological and Chemical Treatments

Addressing dissolved organic compounds and harmful microorganisms requires precision. MEB Energy employs highly efficient biological treatment systems, such as membrane aerated biofilm reactors (MABR). These systems utilize carefully cultivated bacteria to break down organic pollutants. They are incredibly space-efficient and produce an exceptionally high-quality effluent.

When dealing with industrial wastewater containing heavy metals or complex chemicals, we implement targeted chemical precipitation and advanced oxidation processes. These methods neutralize toxic substances, ensuring the water is safe for the next phase of purification or safe discharge.

Final Purification and Distribution

The final polishing steps depend heavily on the intended end-use of the water. For industrial reuse or drinking water applications, we utilize reverse osmosis (RO) and ultrafiltration (UF) membranes. These microscopic barriers strip away dissolved salts, remaining pathogens, and trace contaminants.

Finally, the water undergoes disinfection via ultraviolet (UV) light or controlled chlorination. This guarantees that the water remains safe as it travels through distribution networks. Throughout this entire phase, continuous quality monitoring ensures absolute compliance with all health and safety regulations.

We’ve been designing innovative, highly effective solutions since more than a decade. Backed by comprehensive support, our prime technology and extensive water treatment project experience. MEB has a solution for every requirement and proudly offers various solutions, each with its own way of achieving your water treatment quality goals with our complete line of innovative high-tech solutions
