MEB selected for Fresh Water Project in Mozambique

MEB has been awarded an EPC contract (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) and O&M (Operation and Maintenance) contract in Mozambique for 30,000 m3/day water treatment plant as part of the Greater Maputo Water Supply Expansion Project (GMWSP), Emergency Works to Mitigate Water Sacristy in the Greater Maputo.

MEB has been awarded an EPC contract (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) and O&M (Operation and Maintenance) contract in Mozambique for 30,000 m3/day water treatment plant as part of the Greater Maputo Water Supply Expansion Project (GMWSP), Emergency Works to Mitigate Water Sacristy in the Greater Maputo.

FIPAG is a public institution of national scope supervised by the Ministry of Public Works, Ho

using and Water Resources. FIPAG mission is to Promote the water supply service in the main cities, through effective management of private sector participation, investing and using assets in an efficient and sustainable manner, promoting fair tariffs and safeguarding the environment.

The plant will treat 30,000 m3/day of river water to potable quality. This is the second installation in the region, which is highly prone to water scarcity.

With the growing demand for water, MEB is excited to work with FIPAG on this project, MEB team brings the right combination of technical and execution expertise. We will leverage our full suite of integrated solutions tools, including design strategy, to develop an execution approach to deliver this project safely and with excellence.

MEB solution is ideal for remote locations or river applications such as this. Once commissioned, the entire plant will be fully automated and able to be remotely monitored with minimal maintenance.
